Rates for Editorial and Related Services

If you’re curious about how much you’ll likely be charged for editing, proofreading, indexing, and other publishing-related services, you can get a fairly good idea by visiting the Editorial Freelancers Association website’s “Editorial Rates” page.

Keep in mind that in the publishing business the standard “page” is considered to be 250 words, so it’s a good idea to have a word count for your project.
